Volvo offering five-years/75,000km free servicing on new XC60 and XC90 models, five-year warranty included

Many brands are now offering complimentary service packages as part of new car sales campaigns, the most recent being Volvo.

Volvo Australia is offering a complimentary scheduled servicing on XC60 and XC90 SUV models, for the first five-years or up to 75,000kms. The offer applies to all variants within each of those model ranges, and is supported by the brand’s new, five-year unlimited-kilometre warranty.

In terms of saving, a five-year service plan on both XC60 and XC90 is listed at $2500 on the Volvo Australia website.

The servicing deal is currently on offer until the end of March 2021, but you will need to contact your local Volvo dealer for specific stock and availability.

It's also worth noting that Volvo has simplified its new model line-up for 2021, with variants like the 177kW 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel XC60 and XC90 D5 R-Design dropped from the range.

Volvo has indicated that diesel engine production will soon end for all markets, so any remaining diesel models are technically (if not officially) in runout.

Local buyers wanting diesel motors in the Volvo XC60 will have to make do with the 140kW/400Nm 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel in the D4 Momentum and D4 Inscription, priced from $64,990 plus on-road costs and $71,990 plus on-road costs respectively.

In the larger XC90, the D5 Momentum is still available for $89,990 plus on-road costs, as well as the D5 Inscription for $94,990 plus on-road costs, both offering 173kW/480Nm from the 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel four-cylinder.

These vehicles are all supported by the complimentary service offer, but buyers may be able to drive a better deal on any remaining diesel cars in stock.
