Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante at LA Auto Show

Nestled behind the driver and passenger seat is the awesome 570hp (419kW) 5.2-litre V10, usually at its best at 8000-screaming-rpm. The engine pushes the 1485kg beast along to a top speed of 324km/h. Other performance additions include uprated brakes and sportier (harder) suspension.

Like the Superleggera coupe version, this new Performante was designed keeping track and performance driving strongly in mind. The body features aggressive new touches, such as an aerodynamically enhanced front bumper bar, carbon fibre rear diffuser and deck spoiler at the back; all of which have been taken from the coupe design.

If looks are anything to go by, then this thing will be an absolute blast. Official Australian prices are yet to be announced.
