2021 Lotus new cars
The hype is up for the Lotus electric hypercar.
In 2020, Lotus sold 48 vehicles, a decline of eight per cent compared to last year – not so surprising for a high-performance sports brand during a testing time. There's something to look forward to next year though, and it's set to arrive in Australia in mid-2021.
The Lotus Evija electric hypercar is expected to cost around $3.1 million when it touches down locally, though its big price tag brings big power to match – 1470kW to be exact. It will offer five different drive modes: Range, City, Tour, Sport, and Track.
You'll need to know people in high places if you want one of these in your garage however, as production will be limited to only 130 vehicles.
