Just 60 examples (fittingly) of the limited-run F-Type coupe and convertibles will be produced, with five coupes locked in for an Australian arrival, indicatively priced from $330,000 before on-road costs.
Based on the flagship F-Type R, all examples are finished in Sherwood Green – an original E-Type colour, last offered on a new Jaguar in the 1960s – with duo-tone Caraway and Ebony Windsor leather, a combination exclusive to the Heritage 60 Edition.
Other unique highlights include aluminium centre console trim inspired by the E-Type's rear-view mirror housing, E-Type 60th Anniversary logos embossed into the seat headrests and above the infotainment display, commemorative sill plates, Caraway-edged floor mats and an SV Bespoke 'One of Sixty' plaque.
Australian-delivered models feature 20-inch gloss black forged alloy wheels, black brake calipers, and gloss black and chrome exterior trim accents.
The F-Type Heritage 60 Edition shares its powertrain with the F-Type R on which it is based, meaning a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 sending 423kW of power and 700Nm of torque to all wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Jaguar claims a 3.7-second sprint from zero to 100km/h, towards an electronically-limited top speed of 300km/h.
Standard connectivity equipment fitted to the special edition mirrors that of the donor car, with the cabin home to a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10-inch Touch Pro infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay.
Alongside the limited-run F-Type, Jaguar Classic plans to create six matching pairs of restored, 3.8-litre 1960s E-Types, paying tribute to two of the most famous E-Types built, which wore British registration plates '9600 HP' and '77 RW' – these will be known as the E-Type 60 Collection.
The 2021 Jaguar F-Type Heritage 60 Edition is now available to order, with indicative Australian pricing starting at $330,000 plus on-road costs for each of the five coupes bound for our shores.
Each example will be built at Jaguar's Castle Bromwich plant in the UK, before being hand-finished by the brand's SV Bespoke 'personalisation experts' at Jaguar's SVO division's headquarters in Warwickshire, UK.
