2021 Jaguar F-Pace SVR price and specs: High-performance SUV updated
The updated British performance SUV has risen in price, but receives a facelift and some extra performance.
- 2021 Jaguar F-Pace SVR receives major mid-life update
- Extra torque together with an upgraded transmission and braking system
- Sharper exterior styling and all-new interior
- Pricing increases by $1143 to $141,040 before on-road costs
The 2021 Jaguar F-Pace SVR has been unveiled, receiving notable exterior and interior updates to bring the high-performance model into line with the rest of the F-Pace range.
Headlining the changes for performance fans, Jaguar has increased the torque of the F-Pace SVR's 5.0-litre supercharged petrol V8 engine to 700Nm, with power remaining at 405kW.
The extra 20Nm of thrust drops the sprint time by three tenths of a second, hitting 100km/h from a standstill in four seconds flat, on its way to a higher top speed of 286km/h.
The facelifted F-Pace SVR borrows the Jaguar XE SV Project 8's torque converter to help the eight-speed automatic deliver that extra torque to all four wheels.
Jaguar claims emissions have been improved, with CO2 figures dropping to 275g/km from 281g/km, however fuel consumption has been revised up: now a slightly more realistic 12.2 litres per 100 kilometres, from the previously-claimed 11.9L/100km.
Bringing the SUV to a stop comes courtesy of a pair of 395mm brake discs up front, and 396mm two-piece discs at the rear. The braking system has been upgraded, with a new electronic booster contributing to a shorter and firmer brake pedal.
A sharper exterior design adorns the 2021 F-Pace SVR, gaining slimmer LED headlights and a revised bonnet design which eliminates the obvious shut-line of the pre-facelift model. The rear tail-lights and body kit are also new.
The new body kit is said to reduce front-end lift by 35 per cent, as well as helping to lower drag and cool the brakes.
Inside, and the F-Pace SVR gets the all-new interior which debuted in September 2020. It's uncommon to see such a significant redesign for a mid-life update, but Jaguar has set out to heighten the in-car experience with a focus on high-quality materials throughout.

The seats, doors, and parts of the dashboard are clad in Alcantara and Windsor leather, with aluminium highlight trim as standard, and open-pore carbon-fibre trim available as an option.
Buyers can option a set of slimline front sport seats, while a 12.3-inch high-definition digital instrument cluster and head-up display sits ahead of the driver.
The new F-Pace SVR also benefits from the company's latest Pivi Pro infotainment system, accessed via an 11.4-inch high-definition touch screen.
Pivi Pro uses a dual-sim modem to ensure over-the-air software updates don't interrupt music streaming, and an independent power source ensures it boots up quickly. Active noise cancellation also features.
As with other F-Pace models, the SVR has a suite of safety tech, including adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitor, rear collision monitor, rear traffic monitor, traffic sign recognition, and adaptive speed limiter as standard.
The 2021 Jaguar F-Pace SVR is available to order now, with deliveries expected to begin in April 2021.
