This thing looks as though it requires landing gear and is controlled via a hand-operated thrust lever, but it doesn't and isn't. It's still a car. A Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series enhanced by Platinum Motorsports to be precise.

Platinum Motorsports unveiled the car at the SEMA show recently, in Las Vegas. It features lots of carbon fibre attention, particularly under the back side, and a revised front end which now looks even more aggressive than a recently slapped lion.

It also features fat, deep matte finish wheels to go with the stealth matte-style bodywork. As far as we know, no engine modifications have been made as this was more of a visual showcase for the SEMA show. Still, it's not like the SL65 AMG Black is lacking in the bonnet department anyway.
