2021 Toyota GR Yaris Rallye price and specs: $56,200 drive-away for the first 200 cars

Toyota Australia has revealed pricing and specification details for its upcoming 2021 Toyota GR Yaris Rallye.

As it did with the regular GR Yaris, Toyota Australia will initially offer the Rallye with special introductory pricing of $56,200 drive-away.

The special drive-away offer is limited to the first 200 units only.

Once exhausted, the GR Yaris Rallye will move to a recommended retail price (RRP) of $54,500, excluding on-road costs – this before on-roads price will be retained for all units sold after the initial 200.

The limited-time offer pricing sees the Rallye special edition priced only a few thousand dollars more than a regular GR Yaris, which starts at $49,500 before on-road costs. However, special offer pricing for the first 1000 units saw the non-Rallye GR Yaris offered for as little as $39,950 drive-away.

Contrary to earlier reports of a 250-unit production run, Australia's Rallye allocation won't be limited in number. All Australian-delivered Rallye examples will be finished in pearl white.

Key upgrades for the Rallye over the regular GR Yaris include:

  • Torsen (Torque Sensing) front and rear limited-slip differentials
  • 18-inch BBS forged aluminium wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S performance tyres
  • 'Circuit-tuned' suspension tune
  • Red interior contrast stitching
  • Front brake ducts
  • Red painted brake callipers with GR logo

No changes have been made under the bonnet, with the standard GR Yaris's 200kW/370Nm 1.6-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine, all-wheel-drive system and six-speed manual gearbox to carry over to the Rallye.

The aforementioned introductory pricing will be offered on a first come, first serve basis.

First deliveries of the Toyota GR Yaris Rallye will commence in March 2021, starting with the initial 200 cars, offered at the aforementioned $56,200 drive-away price.

The regular Toyota GR Yaris has exhausted its initial Australian stock allocation, with future cars penned to arrive in the second half of 2021 at the same $49,500 before on-road costs RRP.
