2021 Hyundai Venue price and specs: Prices rise with upgrades

The 2021 Hyundai Venue has been updated for the new year, with a number of features added across the model line-up.

Prices have also risen by $500, only three months after Hyundai raised the price of the mid-range Venue Active by $420, and the range-topping Elite by $250.

The entry-level Venue (no badge) replaces the previous 'Go' variant, but gains 15-inch alloy wheels, a new sliding centre console box, heated door mirrors, updated cloth upholstery, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The mid-spec Venue Active also gains the new console and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but benefits from sportier seats. A set of 17-inch alloy wheels accompanied the August price rise.

A sunroof has been added to the top-tier Venue Elite for 2021, as well as the sliding console box, and a smart key with push-button start was introduced in August.

The Hyundai Venue is powered by a 1.6-litre petrol four-cylinder engine, producing 90kW and 151Nm through a six-speed manual transmission or optional six-speed automatic (an extra $2020 in base and Active models, standard on the Elite). Drive is sent to the front wheels.

Hyundai's 'SmartSense' safety package comes as standard, giving buyers autonomous emergency braking, lane-keep assist, driver-attention warning, tyre-pressure monitor, and high-beam assist.

The 2021 Hyundai Venue will arrive into dealerships in early December 2020.
