2021 Hyundai i30 Fastback N revealed
Hyundai unveils its facelifted fast liftback for a European launch event, a month after Australia's first track drive.
Our man Joshua Dowling drove it in early October as a camouflaged pre-production prototype to experience the N division's new dual-clutch auto, but here it is properly revealed: the 2021 Hyundai i30 Fastback N.
It's been a flood of Hyundai news today, with this latest bit following the reveal of the facelifted Kona Electric and fresh teasers for the i30 Sedan N – but of course Hyundai had to go for a hat-trick.
I'm going to drop these photos and run, but after you've had a look, you should tell us what you think of how well the facelift does or doesn't work in Fastback form, and then go read and watch Josh's review right here.
As a refresher, the updated i30 N range will reach Australia in the first half of 2021, and while pricing is still to be confirmed, the current line-up ranges from $45,500 to $50,500 drive-away across hatch and Fastback styles. Pricing for the i30 Sedan N would be a guess at this point, but we'd expect it to sit about these two.
Outputs for the facelifted i30 N are listed at 206kW and 392Nm (up from 202kW and 353/378Nm (the latter on overboost)).
Now, enjoy these piccies and be sure to catch Josh's track drive review.
