Hyundai worldwide sales increase 21 percent year to date

Hyundai Motor Company's sales figures have just been released and it seems the brand is just getting more and more popular, even on an international scale.

Hyundai sold a total of 2,668,699 cars during September 2009 and September 2010. A majority of the cars were manufactured outside Korea (1,393,055) with the rest being built inside its home country. The brand is becoming increasingly popular in markets such as China and the US too, who made up most of the increased sales.

With these sales of course, comes profits, and net profits for this year have almost doubled that of last year's efforts bringing the total net to AU$3.53 billion. This not only means the company is getting richer but it also means the company has more money to throw into research and development, so we can expect to see more good models to come out in the future.

The company is also expanding fast and is planning to open up its sixth international manufacturing plant scheduled to be in operation in Russia at the beginning of 2012.
