Volkswagen Transporter Single Cab now available
Volkswagen has announced the launch of the new Volkswagen Transporter Single Cab. The new single cab shares the same platform as the Volkswagen Transporter van, whilst offering a large rear tray for heavy loads.
The Single Cab also comes with Volkswagen's fuel efficient 2.0-litre TDI engine offering 103kW of power. This can be had in either six-speed manual form or with an optional seven-speed DSG dual clutch transmission.
With this engine, the ute offers fuel consumption figures of 8.1L/100km for the manual - which emits 214gm of CO2 per kilometre, and 8.5L/100km for the DSG variant - which emits 224gm of CO2 per kilometre.
It also offers a range of safety features such as electronic stability control, anti-lock brakes, traction control, Engine Drag Torque Control, an electronic differential lock system and Hill Holder. Inside, the car features a double bench seat for two people and a separate driver's seat.
