It's quite unusual but the car comes with sporty enhancements such as 17 inch smoke finish alloy wheels and bulked-up bodywork. There's extensions to the front and rear bumper bars as well as a new sill panel.
Enhancements do extend to the interior too which features a completely reupholstered decor showcasing plenty of quality black leather. The seats are also embossed with a 10th anniversary logo.
Other features include tinted rear windows, satellite navigation, park assist, smart entry and a head-up display system. Contrary to the sporty exterior enhancements, there's no changes under the bonnet.
Toyota says the car still offers excellent fuel economy as the normal Toyota Prius model, so the claimed fuel consumption rating of 3.3L/100km remains. The car is just as green as well, emitting 92 grams of CO2 per kilometre.
Just 1000 of the special editions will be sold in the UK market all painted in either White Pearl or Astral Black. Prices start at £26,150 (AU$42,277), or about £3000 (AU$4855) more than the standard T Spirit top-shelf model.
Deliveries are scheduled to commence by December.
