2021 Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid price and specs: Line-up revamped

Two more plug-in hybrid Panamera models added to the line-up, with a new Turbo S E-Hybrid revealed as the flagship.

Porsche has overhauled the Panamera line-up for 2021, with two additional plug-in hybrid powertrains now available.

The new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid variant represents the flagship offering, and produces 420kW from its 4.0-litre biturbo V8 petrol engine, and 100kW from an electric motor integrated into the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

This is enough to launch the vehicle from 0-100 km/h in a claimed 3.2 seconds, and reach a top speed of 315km/h.

As the range-topping model, the Turbo S E-Hybrid also comes standard with ceramic composite brakes and all otherwise-optional chassis and control systems.

At the electrified entry level sits the new Panamera 4 E-Hybrid, which produces 243kW from its 2.9-litre biturbo V6 and 100kW from the electric motor.

Taking a claimed 4.4 seconds to reach 100 km/h, this model has a top speed of 280km/h.

A new 17.9kWh battery means the entire hybrid line-up – comprising sedan, Executive (long-wheelbase version) and Sport Turismo body types – gets a boosted all-electric range, though exact figures were not divulged.

Three new 20- and 21-inch wheels are offered, as are two new exterior colours – these being Cherry Metallic and Truffle Brown Metallic.

Furthermore, the Porsche Communication Management infotainment system now features higher display resolution, improved voice control function, real-time traffic information/satellite maps, and wireless Apple CarPlay.

LED matrix headlights, power steering Plus, seat ventilation, Lane Change Assist, and head-up display come standard on E-Hybrid models.

The 2021 electrified range is already available for order, however the first Australian deliveries are slated for arrival in the first quarter of next year.
