The newest and smallest member of Skoda’s growing SUV family, the Kamiq, has arrived Down Under, but for now it's a single-variant line-up.

While the entry-level Kamiq 85TSI is already in dealerships, those wanting the sportier Kamiq Monte Carlo or more premium Kamiq Limited Edition will have to wait a little while longer.

A representative for Skoda Australia told CarAdvice that both Monte Carlo and Limited Edition variants are already in the country and available to pre-order, but would not go on sale until late October, or early November. Those higher-specified models are awaiting a software update, according to Skoda Australia.

“We’ve been pretty transparent about this, so there are no surprises here," the spokesperson told CarAdvice.

The Skoda Kamiq range kicks off with the entry-level 85TSI available with either a manual gearbox for $27,990 drive-away, or with a seven-speed dual-clutch auto for $29,990 drive-away.

The Kamiq Monte Carlo is priced at $36,990 drive-away and brings with it a bigger engine and higher level of standard inclusions, along with Monte Carlo-specific exterior design features.

The Kamiq Limited Edition is also priced at $36,990 drive-away and will be, according to Skoda Australia, on sale for around six months.
