Specifications for the model 2021 update are expected to be announced in the next week.

In the ute department, the 2.4-litre Triton GLX petrol single cab tray has gone from $22,490 plus on road costs to $22,990 plus on road costs, representing an increase of $500.

The diesel variant of the single-cab tray Triton GLX is now $27,490 plus on road costs, increasing $1250 from $26,240.

The Triton pick-up – also powered by a 2.4-litre diesel – was priced from $36,540 plus on road costs, and now costs $36,990 plus on road costs. This represents an increase of $450.

A spokesperson for Mitsubishi Australia told CarAdvice multiple factors contributed to the increases on both models.

“The upcoming MY2021 vehicles will have some updates, but economic factors like exchange rates have also played a part in determining cost.”
