Volvo recalls S60, V60 and XC60 due to faulty cooling system
According to Volvo, trapped air in the cooling system could pose a potential fire risk.
Volvo Australia has issued a recall on a total of 372 cars – across three model types – citing a potential fault in the cooling system.
The recall notice, lodged with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), says "if the cooling system has to be refilled, air may become trapped in the cooling system, which may result in insufficient cooling of the engine components".
"This may result in damage to engine components and may cause a fire in the engine bay.”
Recalled vehicles were sold between 1 August 2013 and 1 December 2018.
