Lexus CT200h F Sport at 2010 AIMS

In amongst all the Australian debuts at the Australian International Motor Show this year, Lexus sneaked out the new Lexus CT200h F Sport.

It seems Lexus will be bringing out a sporty version of the anticipated new entry-level CT200h, and it will retain the hybrid package. To be simply called the F Sport, the package includes all the usual enhancements as seen on the IS250 and IS350, F Sport.

Additions include new larger, more aggressive tyres and wheels, new front and rear bumper bars with sporty aerodynamics. There's also a bunch of new sports-oriented creature comforts on the inside too, including an 'F sport' steering wheel, pedals and instrument details.

The Lexus CT200h F Sport still features the 1.8-litre engine combined with hybrid technology as the standard CT200h. Sporty features are focused on providing a more aggressive feel and look to the car. Uprated sports suspension is also apart of the package to ensure the car provides enthusiastic handling.

Tony Cramb, Lexus chief executive said about the new car,

"There is a clear trend to small vehicles that do not compromise on features - in short, CT is a small car with all the luxury features of a large car.

"CT 200h F Sport models will add even greater appeal to a vehicle that - with its hybrid drivetrain and list of advanced features - is set to become Australia's most advanced luxury hatch."

The Lexus CT200h and CT200h F Sport will go on sale during the first half of 2011.
