As automotive brands look to take more and more business online, Ford Australia has announced it will launch the 2021 Ford Puma with a series of 'desk drive' walkaround video chats on Facebook Live.

Due in showrooms from late September, the Puma SUV's debut will be accompanied by live online events with Ford and dealer staff offering interactive tours of the car's design and features.

Along with the live walkaround video tours, Ford will launch the 2021 Puma SUV with introductory national drive-away pricing.

Full retail pricing for the Puma was initially revealed in March, with the line-up starting from $29,990 for the base Puma, $32,340 for the Puma ST-Line and $35,540 for the top-shelf (for now) ST-Line V.

Those prices all exclude on-road costs, which, as always, means your final purchase price would be markedly more.

From launch, Ford will offer the Puma from $31,990 drive-away, the ST-Line from $33,990 drive-away and the ST-Line V from $36,990 drive-away.

It's worth noting all models are powered by a 92kW/170Nm 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine, matched to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The company is also incentivising deals further with a $500 bonus for buyers, increasing to a $1000 loyalty bonus for existing Ford owners.

Ford will also throw in its Ford Service Benefits program with the deal, normally priced at $299 for the first 60,000 kilometres. In addition to the standard five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty, Ford Service Benefits adds a complimentary loan car, Auto Club Membership with roadside assistance, and SYNC 3 infotainment satellite navigation map updates.

The Puma will make its Australian market debut in late September. Watch these pages for an upcoming CarAdvice review.
