SsangYong Australia has issued a recall of 374 vehicles from the Korando, Tivoli, and Tivoli XLV range due to the potential for a fuel leak to develop.
Owners of the Korando C300 with Model Years 2019 and 2020 (MY19-MY20), and the Tivoli and Tivoli XLV with Model Years 2015 to 2020 (MY15-MY20) are advised to have their vehicle repaired at a SsangYong dealership.
The recall notice, lodged with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), says "if the fuel supply hose develops a crack and fuel leaks, there is a possibility that fuel may ignite, resulting in a fire".
Affected cars were sold between 1 July 2015 and 7 June 2020.
SsangYong Australia has been contacted and this story will be updated with its response.
