Video: 2021 Porsche 911 GT3 and GT3 Touring testing at Nurburgring

Porsche's upcoming 911 GT3 and the stripped-back GT3 Touring have been caught on video at the German circuit.

The 2021 Porsche 911 GT3 and GT3 Touring have been filmed in testing at the famous Nurburgring in Germany.

The video, posted on YouTube channel Auto Addiction, shows the camouflaged models being driven hard by Porsche test drivers.

Porsche's GT3 range is a favourite among enthusiasts as track-ready, high-performance iterations of the 911 Carrera.

In the video, the screaming non-turbo flat-six sounds as if it is being paired with a PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission in the GT3 Touring – a car originally offered as a manual-only, purists' model.

New front air vents sculpted into the bonnet may aid front-end downforce, or potentially help to improve cooling.

Porsche looks to have settled on a large swan-neck rear spoiler for the GT3, while the GT3 Touring benefits from a subtler electronic rear deck spoiler, which automatically raises at certain speeds to increase downforce.
