2021 Subaru WRX and Levorg interior leaked

Interior photos of the all-new 2021 Subaru WRX and Levorg have surfaced online, ahead of the wagon's release in the coming months.

The images on Japanese website Creative Trend appear to have been leaked from an official Subaru brochure, showing a much larger portrait-oriented infotainment screen, similar to the interior offered on the Subaru Liberty sold in the US.

For the first time in a Subaru is a digital instrument cluster, giving the driver the ability to embed a GPS navigation map.

Also new for the second-generation Subaru Levorg is the hands-free power tailgate.

The new Levorg has been seen undisguised around Japan, providing an insight into the styling we can expect with the wagon and the new Subaru WRX, both due in 2021.

It's unknown at this stage whether the Levorg will get a 1.5-litre turbo or 1.8-litre turbo engine – however, it's understood the WRX will receive Subaru's new 2.4-litre powerplant.

Spies have also caught a Levorg STI testing in Japan, suggesting the model may get the high-power version of the 2.4-litre turbo engine slated for the WRX STI.
