2020 Hyundai Santa Fe Active X price and specs

Hyundai has introduced an Active X special edition to the Santa Fe range.

The 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe Active X – a special edition designed to appeal to private buyers on a budget – has been added to the seven-seat SUV line-up.

Sitting between the entry-level Hyundai Santa Fe Active and mid-range Elite, the Active X gives buyers a list of extra features for a relatively small bump in price.

The Active X comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, satin chrome exterior door handles with courtesy lights, integrated puddle lamps in the power-folding mirrors, and privacy tint on the rear windows.

Inside, the Active X gains a choice of black or dark beige leather interior, dual zone air-conditioning, glovebox cooling, fabric roof-lining, and windscreen-pillar covers.

Extra tech comes in the form of rain-sensing wipers, front parking sensors, a proximity key, and push-button start.

The Active X is available with either a 3.5-litre petrol V6 in front-wheel-drive, or a 2.2-litre turbo diesel in all-wheel-drive. Both come with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

All Hyundai Santa Fe models come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, rear parking sensors and camera, and remote-fold second row seats.

Hyundai's SmartSense safety package also comes as standard with forward collision avoidance (autonomous emergency braking), blind-spot assist, driver attention warning, high beam assist, lane keep assist, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance, rear occupant alert, and adaptive cruise control with stop-go.

The 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe Active X costs $47,020 plus on-road costs for the V6, and $50,050 plus on-road costs for the diesel – $3030 more than the entry-level Active model and $5050 cheaper than the mid-range Elite.

All Hyundai models come with a five year, unlimited kilometre warranty.

The updated 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe was revealed in June 2020, and is expected to arrive in Australian dealerships in late 2020.
