2021 Hyundai Tucson spied with large infotainment screen – report

The next generation of Hyundai's mid-sized SUV looks like it will get a large tablet-style infotainment screen.

UPDATE: The 2021 Hyundai Tucson has now been revealed. See our full story here.

Spy photos have revealed the 2021 Hyundai Tucson may be offered with a large infotainment screen.

A photo released on The Korean Car Blog website shows Hyundai could be moving towards a Tesla-like interior command screen.

The large floating tablet screen will likely be offered in top-end versions of the Hyundai Tucson range, expected in 2021. Spy photos have previously shown the new Tucson will offer a traditional button console on more affordable grades.

The large floating screen spied on the new Tucson shows touch-type buttons down the sides, and is coupled with a digital instrument cluster directly behind the steering wheel.

The next-generation Hyundai Tucson was spied testing in May 2020, but it was Hyundai's Vision T plug-in hybrid concept car shown at the 2019 Los Angeles Motor Show that gave us the best glimpse of the upcoming Tucson.

The Vision T concept car provided a look at the direction of Hyundai's new design language, showing a sharp and angular style, a tapered roof-line, jewel-patterned grille, and distinctive 'pennon flank' sides – as previewed on the upcoming 2021 Hyundai Elantra sedan.
