Built on the foundation of the Exige Sport 410 coupe – which cops a mid-mounted, 302kW/420Nm 3.5-litre supercharged V6 engine and six-speed manual transmission – the 20th Anniversary edition will be limited to just 150 examples globally.
At $169,990 plus on-road costs, the special-edition model has the same asking price as the Sport 410 it is based on, however Lotus says the 20th Anniversary spec gets $11,545 of additional equipment.
These include a special 20th Anniversary logo applied to the exterior and interior, a body-coloured roof, side air intake pods and rear wing, and different hues of Alcantara trim inside with specially-stitched seats that pay homage to the original car.
The Exige Sport 410 20th Anniversary can be had in three bespoke colours all taken from the Exige Series 1 – including Chrome Orange, Laser Blue and Calypso Red – also joined by Saffron Yellow, Motorsport Black and Arctic Silver.
Normally optional extras, the Exige Sport 410 20th Anniversary edition comes with DAB radio and premium speakers, cruise control, carpeted footwells, sound insulation and carbon-fibre seats.
As with the standard Sport 410, the 20th Anniversary edition can be optioned with carbon-fibre sill trims, and a lightweight lithium-ion battery and titanium exhaust.
First deliveries of the Exige Sport 410 20th Anniversary editions in Australia are expected in November. Australia’s allocation has not yet been finalised – with the total number to be based on market demand.
