2021 Skoda Kodiaq spied

The updated SUV may be getting more power, but not in a trim we'll see in local showrooms.

New spy photos have emerged of the face-lifted 2021 Skoda Kodiaq SUV in both regular and sporty RS trim ahead of an expected unveiling later this year.

No significant changes appear to have been made to the regular Kodiaq, however our photographers claim to have found a note stating the 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine will be upgraded to from 141kW to 147kW.

This news is unlikely to affect Australia though, as currently our regular Kodiaq is powered by a 132kW/320Nm 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine.

The Kodiaq RS is expected to receive an updated front and rear bumper, grille and new head and tail light graphics.

Our photographers also noted a graphic in the headlights of the RS in the photos is most likely a provisional graphic.

Inside, the models do not receive any notable changes, our spies claimed.
