Genesis G70 wagon spy photos

The mid-size luxury model has been spotted with a new body style, and it's a good chance for Australian showrooms.

A wagon version of the new Genesis G70 has been caught on camera during testing, with the model a possible addition to the Australian line-up.

The G70 wagon – posted by AutoSpy – appears to have the same twin horizontal headlight and tail-light theme likely for the upcoming G70 facelift.

The G70 is currently only offered in a sedan body, with the face-lifted model expected in Australian showrooms late this year or early 2021.

CarAdvice believes the wagon is a good chance for the Australian Genesis line-up, as the G70 is already built in right-hand drive and the sedan model is already sold locally.

The two spied wagons can be seen with different exhaust tips, suggesting the body style may be available in both four- and six-cylinder variants.

The 2021 Genesis G70 is set to receive beefed-up units in both trims, with the V6 power plant growing from 3.3-litres and 272kW/510Nm to 3.5-litres and 279kW/530Nm – and the four-cylinder engine set to increase from 2.0-litres and 182kW/353Nm to 2.5-litres and 223kW/420Nm.
