2021 BMW 4 Series Coupe revealed through leaked images
What appear to be official images of the model have surfaced online, days ahead of a scheduled reveal.
Marketing shots of BMW’s new-generation 2021 4 Series Coupe have leaked online, less than two days before the model’s slated unveiling.
The new images – which surfaced on Twitter – offer the first clear look at the new 4 Series, including the controversial tall grille design that has set online discussion alight.
As previously reported by CarAdvice, the 4 Series' new front end differentiates itself from the 3 Series sedan with this grille, larger air intakes and a different headlight design.
While no new technical information is revealed in the images, there is a note stating a paint colour option will be available from November 2020 – confirming the new 4 Series will be on sale (at least in some regions) before the end of the year. An Australian debut before the end of 2020 would also seem likely.
BMW Australia is yet to confirm local timing for the new 4 Series, but an announcement is expected to be made following its online unveiling on 2 June at 6pm, Central European Summer Time (3 June 2am AEST.)
The online reveal can be viewed here.
