2020 Nissan Juke price and specs

Nissan Australia has confirmed pricing and specification for its second-generation Juke small SUV ahead of a local showroom debut in June.

The new Nissan Juke will be available in four trim levels – up from two on offer in the previous generation (excluding the Nismo variant).

The entry level Nissan Juke ST will start from $27,990 plus on-road costs, with the ST+ and ST-L increasing to $30,740 and $33,940 respectively before on-road costs. The range tops out with the Nissan Juke Ti, which costs $36,490 plus on-road costs.

These prices mark a $7250 price increase for the base model ST trim compared to the current generation Juke ST, which costs from $23,490.

All variants of the new Nissan Juke are powered by a 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine (84kW/180Nm) driving the front wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Unlike the current generation, Nissan will not offer an all-wheel drive variant for the new generation Juke.

The power figures for the new model are close to the first generation Juke ST’s 85kW/190Nm 1.2-litre engine outputs, but markedly down on the first generation Juke Ti-S’s 140kW/240Nm 1.6-litre engine figures.

Despite having less power, the new Nissan Juke is bigger than before, with a 75mm increase in length, 35mm increase in width and a 30mm increase in height.

The Nissan Juke ST and ST+ ride on 17-inch alloy wheels, while the ST-L and Ti move up to 19-inch wheels.

Inside, the new Nissan Juke gets an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and voice recognition. A 4.2-inch digital display in the instrument cluster of ST and ST+ is upgraded to 7.0-inches in the ST-L and Ti.

Cloth is used on the seats in ST and ST+, while the ST-L's gain leather accenting and the Ti’s are wrapped in quilted leather with Alcantara trims.

The ST-L and Ti also score a leather-accented steering wheel and shift knob, with the Ti getting additional Alcantara on its dashboard and other panels.

A comprehensive safety suite is also included as standard, featuring a forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking for pedestrians and cyclists, lane departure warning and lane-keep assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and a rear-facing camera and parking sensors.

The 2020 Nissan Juke has also scored a five-star ANCAP safety rating. For more information on its results, click here .

LED headlights and tail lights, power-folding and heated side mirrors, and hill-start assist also come standard across all variants.
