A Porsche Cayenne you might actually want? The crazy guys at Merdad have turned the somewhat ugly Porsche Cayenne wagon into quite a nice looking... well, it's not really a coupe, and it's not exactly a family hatch... stealth machine. That's what we'll call it.
The British tuning company owner, known as Merdad, apparently worked with Uwe Gemballa and his internationally recognised Porsche tuning company for five years before setting up his own show in the UK; so he ought to know a thing or two about Porsches. And he does by the looks of this. Merdad recently said in a statement,
"We are very proud that this creation has brought together many British engineers and designers who have contributed to bringing this fantastic beast to the table."
Cutting up a brand new Porsche takes some courage but that's exactly what the Merdad group do. By shortening the Cayenne wagon it not only makes it lighter, but also more rigid and above all, better looking.
Under the bonnet Merdad treatment also can be arranged as they do tuning packages which range from offering 410kW to 560kW. The 560kW version is said to be capable of doing the 0-100km/h sprint in just 4.4 seconds, making it one of the fastest off-road vehicles you can buy.
What do you think, does the coupe-shape rid the typical Cayenne ugliness?
