Around the tracks: Learjet limousines, multicoloured Bentley Bacalars and classic Range Rovers in the wild

Plus, some 'Fast and Furious'-themed lego and a Mini-approved at-home workout.

When we’re not creating it ourselves, the CarAdvice team spends a lot of time finding and consuming motoring content from all over the world.

Here’s a handful of the photos, articles, videos or social media posts that most caught our eye last week. Some of them are brand new, others have been online for a while.

Enjoy them – just not too much, okay?

1. Dominic Toretto's Fast & Furious Dodge Charger in Lego form

Once you've watched all eight films in the Fast & Furious franchise, you can occupy yourself with this 1077-piece Lego recreation of lead character Dominic Toretto's (Vin Diesel) '70s Dodge Charger.

Lego is currently taking pre-orders for the kit, which is priced at US$99.99 and features replicas of details like the original's V8 engine, blower and wishbone suspension.

2. The Learmousine, a street-legal aircraft on wheels

In what may seem like a particularly elaborate April Fool's gag, a vehicle surfaced for sale online this week that bills itself as a road-legal private-jet-meets-limousine.

The one-of-a-kind, 13-metre 'Learmousine' was originally created by a man named Dan Harris from Oregon, as the result of two years of painstaking research and development.

According to Mecum Auctions, where the Learmousine is up for sale, it was created from a Learjet fuselage mated to a custom steel skeletal frame. It boasts an 8.1-litre Chevrolet Vortec V8 engine capable of 400hp (298kW), rides on 28-inch wheels and is, miraculously, street-legal in the US.

Plus, it's a former private jet – so you best believe there's seating for 18 of your closest friends, once all this social distancing business is a distant memory, of course.

3. Mini's car-friendly at-home workout

With people confined to their homes, it seems everyone on social media is jumping on the at-home workout bandwagon. And even car brands aren't immune from the allure of an isolation-friendly fitness routine.

Mini Australia took to Instagram to share its tips for staying healthy during a lockdown, posting a workout guide that includes 'boot dips', 'grille crunches' and 'Mini laps'.

4. The Bentley Bacalar gets an outfit change

Bentley released its coach-built Mulliner Bacalar last month, revealing only 12 examples would be made, with each of them priced over $3 million (or £1.5 million plus taxes).

All 12 have already been snapped up, with production due to commence in late 2020, but that hasn't stopped Bentley from showing its elite group of customers what can be done when you take full advantage of the bespoke personalisation service on offer.

This week, the British marque released renders of six bespoke offerings, revealing the extent of the Bacalar's custom colour and trim options. Each example is named after a different locale (most of them in the US), including one called the Randwick, which is named after – you guessed it – the Sydney suburb.

The Randwick boasts Yellow Flame body paint with gloss black highlights and matching yellow interior accents and was the car originally built to be shown at the Geneva Motor Show before it was cancelled.

Our particular favourite, however, is the Clerkenwell, which features Moss Green exterior paint and a cabin appointed with "Cheltenham tweed" and a "Honey Larch veneer". It's pictured below.

You can see all six cars in this Forbes article.

5. These classic Range Rover shots

When they popped up on our Instagram feed, these quintessentially British scenes – likely from an original '80s Range Rover brochure – had us feeling all nostalgic for a time when classic Rangies (including what looks to be a LWB Vogue) grazed freely among us.
