We still have a long way to go in the automotive industry for gender parity, but we are getting there. Organisations like Women in Automotive are helping, making ladies feel supported and giving them a chance to network within the sector, to make them feel they are not alone in a male-dominated industry.
On March 5, Women in Automotive held a breakfast to celebrate International Women's Day, with a Women in Motorsport theme.
On stage were a panel of guests, including 2016 Australian Rally Car champion, Molly Taylor; COO of Triple Eight Red Bull Racing, Jessica Dane; and motorsport reporter and RPM co-host, Kate Peck.
Jessica and Kate joined Mandy Turner for an International Women's Day podcast, where you'll get an insight into a day-in-the-life of them at the race track, why motorsport makes them tick, and how they made the transition to their chosen career.
