International Women’s Day podcast: Ladies in motorsport

COO of Triple 8 Racing, Jess Dane, and motorsport reporter, Kate Peck

International Women's Day, held on March 8, celebrates women's achievement and raises awareness against bias. This year, the theme is 'each for equal', taking action for equality.

We still have a long way to go in the automotive industry for gender parity, but we are getting there. Organisations like Women in Automotive are helping, making ladies feel supported and giving them a chance to network within the sector, to make them feel they are not alone in a male-dominated industry.

On March 5, Women in Automotive held a breakfast to celebrate International Women's Day, with a Women in Motorsport theme.

On stage were a panel of guests, including 2016 Australian Rally Car champion, Molly Taylor; COO of Triple Eight Red Bull Racing, Jessica Dane; and motorsport reporter and RPM co-host, Kate Peck.

Jessica and Kate joined Mandy Turner for an International Women's Day podcast, where you'll get an insight into a day-in-the-life of them at the race track, why motorsport makes them tick, and how they made the transition to their chosen career.
