Kia has announced a special Night Sky Edition of its sports liftback Stinger GT for the Australian market.

As the name suggests, Kia will only offer the Night Sky Edition of its Stinger GT in nocturnal hues for the exterior. Customers can choose from Micro Blue, Deep Chroma Blue and Aurora Black Pearl paint.

Inside, the Stinger Night Sky Edition receives a special light grey Nappa leather-trimmed interior to contrast the exterior.

Based on the GT-spec Stinger, the Night Sky Edition picks up the bimodal exhaust system to add bark to the 272kW 3.3-litre twin-turbocharged V6.

The Stinger Night Sky has a listed price of $63,500 before on-road costs, coming in with a $710 premium over the standard GT and $1290 below the limited GT Carbon Edition.

The GT Carbon Edition features carbon fibre lavishing on its grille surround, bonnet vent inserts, side vents, wing mirrors and rear diffuser.
