Porsche 911: SportDesign and Aerokit packages available now

The two appearance packages are available in Australia now

Porsche has released two styling and aerodynamic packages for the latest-generation 911, giving the Carrera range a GT3 look without the GT3 price.

Produced by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, the SportDesign package features a revised front apron and spoiler lip, and a new bumper section.

In order to fit the new air intakes and vents, the front number plate section has been raised. Side skirts are also optional, helping make the car look lower to the ground.

The package costs $8470 on the base 911 Carrera, although owners can opt for the front apron ($5370) or side skirts ($2200) individually.

Based on the SportDesign package, the Aerokit is designed for all coupes in the 992 911 line-up and includes a special front spoiler, and a fixed rear spoiler and wing.

These packs were engineered over several months at Porsche’s development centre in Weissach, where they were tested in wind tunnels.

They were also extensively tested over 90,000 kilometres on roads around the world in both hot and cold climates, along with 55,000kms of high speeds on the Nardo race track in Italy.

The Aerokit pack, which includes the SportDesign pack, is priced at $11,950. They are available to order in Australia now.
