2014-16 Ford F-250, F-350 recalled

A problem with the car's tie-rod ends has forced a recall.

Performax has recalled the 2014-16 Ford F-250 and F-350, over concerns their tie-rod ends could fail prematurely.

According to the company, dry steering – turning the wheel while the car is stationary – can make the tie-rod end fail.

If it fails the tie-rod end could come loose or break, increasing the risk of an accident or injury to vehicle occupants and other road users.

A total of 148 cars are included in the recall – a VIN list is attached here.

Performax will contact owners of the affected vehicles and advise them to organise a free fix with their nearest dealer.
