Hyundai ix20 MPV Paris motor show preview

Hyundai has announced plans to unveil a new B-segment MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) at the Paris motor show which it has named the Hyundai ix20.

This first teaser sketch shows that this new model will be a striking departure from the typical 'boxy' minivan stereotype, instead adopting a more dynamic and sportier profile in line which Hyundai has become known for in recent times.

Having been designed and developed at Hyundai's European R&D centre in Rüsselsheim, Germany, the Hyundai ix20 will become the brand's second European car to adopt the brand's 'fluidic sculpture' design language, after the Hyundai ix35.

Hyundai will also use the Paris motor show to make the world premiere of its upgraded Hyundai i10 city car - including a new 1.0-litre engine with CO2 emissions of just 99 g/km.

Lastly, Hyundai will showcase the latest developments from its Blue Drive eco-focused program highlighting new environmental technologies set to contribute further to reductions in emissions from new Hyundai vehicles.
