Kia’s Australian Open Fleet hits the road
The 130-strong fleet of branded Kias is back for the 19th year
It's tennis time in Melbourne again, which means the streets are swarming with Kias.
For the 19th consecutive year, Kia is supporting the Australian Open with a squadron of branded vehicles to transport, players, officials and VIPs to and from the Melbourne Park facility.
The 130-strong fleet, made up of Kia Carnival, Sorento and Stinger, is expected to make over 20,000 trips and cover more than 300,000km over the tournament period, which concludes on February 2nd, 2020.
Tennis ace, and Kia Ambassador, Rafael Nadal officially handed over the keys to the fleet on behalf of Kia at a ceremony at Melbourne's Federation Square earlier this week.
The star autographed a specially modified Kia Seltos show car, featuring a unique widebody styling kit and enhanced interior, which will be on display at Melbourne Park throughout the tournament.
Fans of the Spanish ace should keep an eye out too, as Nadal himself uses the fleet, and has enjoyed the same driver for over 10 years! Happy spotting!
