2020 Porsche Cayenne GT Coupe spied

Porsche still hasn't confirmed it, but these spy photos appear to reveal a more powerful range-topper for the Porsche Cayenne Coupe range.

A more powerful range-topping Porsche Cayenne Coupe, potentially bearing the GT badge, has been snapped during testing.

Following in the footsteps of a red Porsche test mule we saw in 2019, this white car appears to have a centrally-mounted exhaust system.

Don't be fooled by the two angular exhaust tips on the outer edges of the lower bumper, you can see the snow has melted around the centre of the 'diffuser'.

Unlike the previous tester we saw, there are no bright green brake calipers here. That doesn't necessarily mean this isn't a hybrid, though, given it's a test mule.

Beyond the central exhaust pipes, there's nothing to distinguish the GT from regular, garden-variety Cayenne Coupes. Don't expect that to be the case when the car launches.

If rumours are to be true, the new ‘GT Coupe’ would sit above Porsche's current range-topping SUV, the Turbo S E-Hybrid, which is powered by a 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 and an electric motor, producing a combined 500kW and 900Nm of torque.

With that in mind, the GT could make 600kW of power and close to 1000Nm of torque.
