2019 Toyota Camry, 2019-20 Coaster recalled

According to the company, one of the two locking mechanisms in the seatbelts mightn't lock as required.

If one of the locking mechanisms doesn't function, passengers might not be properly restrained in an accident, increasing their risk of injury or death.

A total of 1058 vehicles are recalled – 1044 Camrys, and 14 Coasters. A VIN list is attached here.

Toyota will contact owners of the affected vehicles and advise them to organise a free fix at their nearest dealer.
