2021 Cadillac Escalade leaked undisguised

Range-topping SUV seeks to differentiate itself even further from its Chevrolet and GMC siblings.

Less than a day after the related Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban were revealed, leaks have outed the design of the next-generation Cadillac Escalade.

Photos of exterior were published by Allcarnews on Instagram, while the shots of the interior were given to Carscoops.

Externally, the new Escalade differs from the Tahoe/Suburban primarily via its unique front-end design. Inspired by the XT6 crossover, the range-topping Cadillac features slim rectangular headlights, a large black mesh grille with fake metal edges, and a more sharply creased front bumper.

Along the sides the Escalade benefits from extra splashes of chrome, especially around the C-pillar.

Although no photos have emerged of the fifth-generation Escalade's rear end, it will likely once again feature different tail-lights to its Chevrolet counterparts.

Possibly inspired by the latest Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator pair, Cadillac has gone to greater lengths to differentiate the cabin from its less costly siblings.

There's a completely new dashboard design featuring a strong horizontal theme, slim vents and a small climate control section, as well as a dual upright panels to frame and house the infotainment and digital instrumentation screens.

There also seems to be a secondary display wedged between the instruments and doors. In addition to this there's acres of shiny wood, metal-like buttons, soft leather, a unique steering wheel, and a gear shifter in the centre tunnel.
