The updated Audi RS5 coupe and Sportback have been revealed, sporting a few minor design updates to bring them into line with the A5 coupe and liftback.
Visually, the RS5 range gains a wider and flatter single-frame grille, and redesigned side sills, rear diffuser and front bumper.
As before, the RS5 models have wheel arches that are 40mm wider than on regular A5 and S5 models.
Changes to the interior include a new 10.1-inch MMI infotainment display, now with touchscreen functionality, and large aluminium shift paddles behind the steering wheel.
Both RS5 models are still powered by a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 making 331kW of power between 5700 and 6700rpm, and 600Nm of torque between 1900 and 5000rpm.
All of this delivered to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The RS5 can blast through the 0-100km/h standard in 3.9 seconds, and hit an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h, or 280km/h on request.
In standard trim, the RS5 rides on 19-inch wheels with 265/35 tyres, while there are new designs for the optional 20-inch rims in either grey, gloss black or matte bronze.
The dynamic handling system gains two driver customisable modes (RS1 and RS2) in addition to the comfort, auto, and dynamic modes. Two new paint choices have been added to the RS5's roster: Turbo Blue and Tango Red.
For European buyers, the options list includes laser light matrix LED headlamps with blacked out bezels, Nappa leather seats, a 12.3-inch virtual cockpit instrumentation screen, head-up display, and a even sportier suspension package with hydraulic roll and pitch stabilisation.
