Here's a couple of cool new videos we found of Chevrolet promoting the Chevrolet Cruze. Although it's not the Holden Cruze specifically, the car is almost identical to our Australian model.
The first video is of General Motors', Scott Thomas, who is a senior staff engineer and worked on various aspects of the Chevrolet Cruze safety program. He explains the testing the car was subjected to prior to its release. Check out the procedures going on in the background.
The second one is just an ad, basically. It's a nice little piece of entertainment though and it seems a sincere and friendly approach to promoting the car's quality.
According to VFACTS, the Australian Holden Cruze took up 11.7 percent share of the total small vehicle market in July this year, in the under $40,000 category. This is an improvement over last year's figures, where the Holden Cruze took up 10.4 percent of the market. Year-to-date sales also increased by 480.8 percent - 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 respectively - making it the most increasingly popular car in the segment.
