Hot on the heels of the 2 Series Gran Coupe's reveal, BMW has launched a range of M Performance Parts for its new compact four-door coupe.

Like other models in the BMW stable, the 2 Series Gran Coupe will be available with a range of motorsport-inspired upgrades and accessories, set to be available from the car's European launch in November.

For the exterior, buyers can opt for a high-gloss black bootlid spoiler, stainless steel tailpipe finishers with titanium outer pipe and carbon-fibre casing, a high-gloss black mesh front grille, and carbon mirror caps.

There's also a range of 18- and 19-inch alloy wheel designs in different finishes, which sit in front of available M Performance sports brakes with larger perforated and ventilated discs and red brake calipers.

Inside, the staple M Performance steering wheel is available with Alcantara and carbon-fibre trims, M Performance paddle shifters finished in carbon-fibre, a carbon-finished gear selector, and M Performance floor mats.

Other accessories on offer for the 2 Series Gran Coupe include M Performance LED door projectors, an Alcantara/carbon-fibre M Performance key holder, and M Performance tyre bags for storing additional sets of wheels.

Australia

BMW's local division has indicated a first quarter 2020 arrival for the new 2 Series Gran Coupe, with full pricing and specifications to be announced closer to launch.

At this stage it seems the M235i xDrive performance hero is the only definite starter in Australia, which would also be a prime candidate for the M Performance Parts catalogue.

BMW Australia says it will offer the carbon-fibre mirror caps, 18- and 19-inch wheel sets, steering wheel, carbon gear selector and M Performance floor mats, with these products "expected" to become available from the second quarter of 2020.
