2020 Bentley Flying Spur Blackline Specification unveiled

A darker appearance package has been released to give Bentley's limousine a more sporting look.

The 2020 Bentley Flying Spur Blackline Specification package has been unveiled.

For the appearance package, Bentley has replaced most of the sedan's chromed exterior trim pieces with black parts.

The list of black components include Flying B bonnet mascot, grille trim, side window frames, wheel arch vents, door handles, exhaust tips, and door and rear bumper blades.

While the headlamp and tail-light bezels have also been darkened, it's interesting the interior doesn't include any changes.

Vehicles specified with the Blackline treatment ride on 21-inch wheels as standard, with 22-inch rims an optional extra.

Since the company began offering the Blackline package on the related Continental GT two-door range, up to 30 per cent of buyers have opted for the sportier look.

Launched in the middle of 2019, the new Flying Spur is based on the same rear- and all-wheel drive platform that's already spawned the latest Porsche Panamera and Bentley Continental GT.

Currently the Flying Spur can only be ordered with a 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine with 467kW of power and 900Nm of torque. An eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive are both standard.

Australia

The Bentley Flying Spur will be offered in Australia early in 2020, and the Blackline Specification will be available.
