2017-19 Lamborghini Aventador S recalled

Lamborghini has recalled the 2017-19 Aventador S and Aventador S Roadster, over concerns about the engine's ability to maintain idle.

According to the company, a software fault means the engine might not maintain the minimum idle speed required to stay running. If the engine can't idle, it could stall.

Although the engine can be restarted after a stall, the issue still increases the risk of an accident or injury to other road users.

A total of 38 supercars are included in the campaign – a VIN list is attached here.

Owners of the affected cars will be contacted by Lamborghini and advised to organise a free fix with their nearest dealer.
