2020 Renault Megane RS Trophy-R facelift spied
Revised hatch features a slight visual update headlined by new tail-light graphics.
The facelifted Renault Megane RS, probably an updated version of the Trophy or Trophy-R variant, has been spied with practically no disguise.
With only some blue tape on the front grille and lower air intake, it seems as though the updated Megane range should be revealed in the near future.
Up front, the revised Megane RS features new RS badges at the lower tip of the grille, as well as new headlight internals.
Around the side we can see carry-over alloy wheels with silver and red spokes. At the back there are new tail-lights graphics, with a red brake and driving light strip sitting atop a grey section for the indicators and reversing lights.
This prototype features red brake calipers and an Akrapovič sticker on the top of the rear diffuser indicating this is a pre-production version of the new Trophy or Trophy-R.
It's unclear if Renault will update the turbocharged 1.8-litre engines available in the RS range, which currently include a 206kW unit in the standard model, and 221kW variant in the Trophy and Trophy-R.
Along with the usual suite of trim upgrades and design fiddles, the revised Megane range may receive revised infotainment units.
