2020 Lexus ES300h pricing and specs

Lexus Australia has revealed pricing and specifications for the upgraded ES300h range, which sees the addition of new model variants and the standard inclusion of smartphone mirroring systems across the line-up.

For the 2020 model year, there's now a sportier F Sport trim level, while the Luxury and F Sport grades offer an additional Enhancement Pack option for "further impressive specification".

The entry-level ES300h Luxury (from $60,488) now gets front parking sensors, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for the 12.3-inch infotainment system which already features satellite navigation and DAB+ digital radio.

Other standard equipment across the range includes bi-LED headlights with cornering lamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry and start, a head-up display, power moonroof, 10-way power adjustable front seats with heating, a power-adjustable steering column, 10 airbags, AEB with pedestrian detection, all-speed adaptive cruise control, and lane-tracing assist.

Opting for the ES300h Luxury with Enhancement Pack ($68,875) brings a 360-degree camera system, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, 18-inch alloys, leather-accented seats, ventilated front seats, 14-way power adjustment for the drive including lumbar and memory, along with an electric rear sunshade.

Next in the range is the new ES300h F Sport ($69,755), which gets a mesh front grille insert with black exterior accents, 19-inch F Sport alloys and F Sport badging.

There's also triple-LED headlights with sequential indicators, adaptive high-beam, adaptive variable suspension, F Sport-embossed front sports seats in 'Nulux' leatherette trim, revert to the Luxury's 10-way power adjustment for the front seats, perforated leather trim for the F Sport steering wheel, and brand-first 'Hadori' aluminium cabin ornamentation.

Ticking the F Sport with Enhancement Pack option ($73,755) brings a 17-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, heated steering wheel, and a powered bootlid with kick sensor.

Finally, the range-topping ES300h Sports Luxury ($75,488) adds semi-aniline leather-accented seats, tri-zone climate control air-conditioning, rear door sunshades, and a heated rear seat with power recline function.

The Sports Luxury also deletes adaptive variable suspension, and gets model-specific 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels.

"An expanded breadth of genuine luxury and a new level of smooth sportiness has combined to create an ES300h line-up of unrivalled abilities," said Scott Thompson, Lexus Australia's chief executive.

"The greater number of Lexus customers purchasing this luxury sedan can now enjoy the luxury of choice, supplemented by a new standard of range-wide connectivity."

All versions of the ES300h are powered by a petrol-electric hybrid system combining a 2.5-litre Atkinson cycle four-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor and battery pack for a system power output of 160kW.

For the new model year there's up to 12 exterior colour options depending on grade, with White Nova and Cobalt Mica reserved for the F Sport.

Luxury variants are available with black or 'chateau' interior colourways, while F Sport is exclusively available with F Sport black or F Sport flare red. Finally, the Sports Luxury exclusively offers topaz brown and rich cream, along with the availability of bamboo interior ornamentation.
