2020 Audi TT pricing and specs

The four-ringed sports car is now exclusively all-wheel drive with just two trim levels available, now priced from $79,900.

Audi Australia has announced pricing and specifications for the refreshed TT and TT S coupe, now priced from $79,900 plus on-road costs.

Compared to the outgoing range, the price of entry has risen by over $5000, but the company has offset the hike by making all-wheel drive standard and adding equipment across the range.

In addition to the minor styling changes that we've covered previously, the entry-level TT 45 TFSI quattro gets LED headlights with 'dynamic' scrolling rear indicators, auto-folding exterior mirrors, and Audi phone box light with wireless phone charging.

Audi says the 45 TFSI quattro carries "more than $5000" of additional value over the outgoing model.

Power in the base trim comes from a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine making 169kW and 370Nm, good for a claimed 0-100 time of 5.3 seconds while fuel consumption is rated at 6.6L/100km on the combined cycle.

Meanwhile, the more powerful TT S (pictured) is priced from $99,900 (-$1955) and gets extra specification to the tune of more than $8500, according to Audi.

Upgraded equipment includes standard metallic paint, red brake calipers, heated front seats, nappa leather upholstery, and a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system.

All models get side assist (blind-spot monitoring), lane keep assist, front and rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera, progressive steering, and cruise control with speed limiter.

The TT S is powered by a higher tune of the 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine, making 210kW and 380Nm. Audi claims the S variant can hit 100km/h from a standstill in just 4.7 seconds, while using 7.0L/100km on the combined cycle.

Buyers will be able to customise their TT or TT S with two new optional packages for the 2020 model year – the S line sport package and S performance package.

The TT 45 TFSI quattro's S line sport package ($7990) includes 19-inch alloy wheels in unique design, the S line exterior package, S sport front seats, aluminium interior accents, along with the Audi premium sound system.

Opting for the S performance package ($4900) with the TT S brings Matrix LED headlights, black high-gloss exterior accents, auto-dimming side mirrors, park assist, and the extended leather package.

New body colours are available, too, including Cosmos Blue, Pulse Orange, and Turbo Blue. The TT 45 TFSI is available with all three new colours, while the TT S is available with Pulse Orange and Turbo Blue.
