CarAdvice and J.D. Power survey: The future of electric vehicles in Australia

CarAdvice and J.D. Power have teamed up to uncover what car buyers think the future holds for electric vehicles (EVs) in Australia.

The range of electric vehicles available in Australia is slowly growing, with models like the Jaguar I-Pace and Tesla's range at the top end, and offerings like the Nissan Leaf, Hyundai Ioniq Electric and Hyundai Kona Electric at the more affordable end.

Soon, Audi will add the e-tron to its local line-up, Mercedes-Benz will launch the new EQC, Porsche will offer up the sleek Taycan, and Volkswagen will deliver an onslaught of ID-badged EVs. Many others are set to follow.

These are still early days, however, and many buyers have questions around purchase price, maintenance and servicing, practicality, and driving range.

We want to know what you want from the technology, and what you're prepared to accept. Price, charging times, driving range and reliability... tell us your hopes and expectations.
