2020 Kia Mohave interior sketched

The dashboard of the facelifted Kia Mohave has been teased ahead of its release later this year.

Much of the interior is new, including the dashboard, door panels, steering wheel, and centre tunnel. While the dashboard still features analogue dials, the upper section has a stitched leather treatment, strong horizontal design theme, and a high-mounted infotainment system.

Underneath the touchscreen are a relocated set of air vents and a strip of climate control switches. The centre tunnel features a gear shifter paired with a set of cup holders.

The exterior of the Mohave was unveiled earlier this month, and features a radically updated front- and rear-end treatments, although the majority of the body still dates back to 2008.

Kia has yet to reveal details about the updated Mohave's powertrain, but the model currently on sale in South Korea is available with a 191kW/560Nm 3.0-litre turbo-diesel V6 coupled to an 8-speed automatic, and a four-wheel drive system with high- and low-range.

Versions sold in the Middle East are equipped with a 3.8-litre V6 petrol engine with 202kW of power and 362Nm of torque. A 4.6-litre V8 version was also available when the car was sold briefly in the US.

The body-on-frame Mohave is built in left-hand drive only, and available in both five- and seven-seat trims.

The updated Mohave goes on sale in South Korea from September this year.
