2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA recalled

A trio of compact Mercedes-Benz crossovers has been called back to the dealership over an issue with the top tether point in the rear middle seat.

Mercedes-Benz has recalled a trio of 2018 GLA crossovers, over concerns about the rear central top tether.

According to the company, the top tether anchorage point at the centre of the rear seat bench could be concealed. If it is, owners won't be able to attach a child restraint.

Only three cars are included in the campaign – a VIN list is attached here.

Mercedes-Benz will contact owners of the affected cars and advise them to organise a free repair with their nearest dealer. The original recall list is attached here.
